12th Moscow International Course on Hybrid Surgery (MICHS-2021)

The 12th Moscow International Course on Hybrid Surgery (MICHS-2021) will take place on February 7-9, 2021. This year, the event will be held online on the MICHS website. Presentations will be webcast live throughout the three days of the event.
Minimally invasive interventions tend to play an ever-increasing role in modern cardiovascular medicine. The goal of the Course is to convert high surgical technologies into current Russian healthcare practices.
The Course will traditionally cover the most pressing issues and most important achievements of global invasive cardiology and cardiac surgery: conventional and transcatheter treatment structural heart diseases, hybrid and endovascular procedures in thoracic aortic surgery, endovascular abdominal aortic repair including complex techniques in cases of aneurysms with challenging anatomy. In addition, the scientific program of the event will highlight the role of endovascular and hybrid strategies used for peripheral arterial disease.
International cooperation is key to successful introduction of the latest advances in medical science to clinical realities. The research and organizing committee of this year’s Course brings together experts from Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, China, Israel, France, Germany, the UK, Denmark, Switzerland, USA.
Apart from lectures at sessions and symposiums, our international colleagues will take part in surgeries that will be performed by the hybrid surgery laboratory of the Cardiology National Medical Research Center under the RF Healthcare Ministry. Live webcasts from the operating theater will offer the audience interactive insights into innovation technologies in cardiovascular surgery.
